You can’t compete with this.

You can’t compete with it because its not real. The person on the left is real. The person on the right is a creation of lighting and photoshop.
The person on the left is beautiful because she is real, unlike her edited counterpart.
Be realistic ladies and understand that what you see in magazines and on tv, isn’t always true.

This is so eye opening. Please look at this, EVERYBODY, and realize HOW INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL YOU ARE. Nobody looks like a model. “Models” don’t exist,

GIRLS! look at the picture. same swimsuit, same hair, obviously the same day. if you honestly couldn’t tell the left picture was photoshopped, then compare it to the right. miranda looks great in the right photo- she’s even got some abs going on! it is disgusting that someone would photoshop her to that disproportionate size. honestly people! its so sad that girls reblog this as thinspo and actually make it their goals. its not even real. although i prefer tone over being thin, im not saying that being skinny is gross. im saying that you need to set realistic and healthy goals. can i just reiterate that the left picture isn’t even real? ladies, love your bodies! if you’re trying to lose weight, you need to learn to love your body now,at the size it is. only then can you healthy work on your goals to improve the one and only body you were given. if you don’t love your body now, you will never be satisfied with it.

o.0 The left one looks weird. She’s so oddly shaped it CLEARLY isn’t human! don’t believe any of those shitty magazine pictures

I think even the second one might have some slight shooping, but I can’t see it well enough to be sure. But either way, I love these comparisons.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio with and without make up !

Also without: their hair professionally done, professional lighting, shadows and angles and the ever present usage of professional digital editing software such as Photoshop.

And guess what…they look NORMAL. Just like any other woman. Unless you get all of the above mentioned perks too, it’s not fair to compare yourself to manipulated photographs of normal looking women.

Use your eyes and see that what you’re killing yourself to look like is fake and manufactured beauty. Those women look just fine without all of the bullshit they do to make them deemed socially sexy. And so do you.

Probably fifth time reblogging. Ladies and gentlemen, ITS ONE BIG FAT CHARADE. These women are beautiful, but not the kind of beautiful you think they are. So do not try to look like a victoria’s secret model, because it is literally an impossible task.

THIS. THIS IS THE PICTURE THAT I COMMENTED ON SO LONG AGO. What I said was not here anymore— so I don’t know how people are STILL finding it. But oh well.It still makes me sad— that this goes on in magazines ALL the time. Extreme photoshopping. I’d love to see a magazine use no body photoshopping AT ALL— what a breath of fresh air that would be.

This makes me so upset. THIS is what they do in magazines with photoshop and what many many models do to their actual bodies! This woman is so beautiful at her natural size and after she is photoshopped… she looks anorexic. Then images like these scatter the pages of every magazine out there and are deemed beautiful. And because there is only one type of body in these magazines- everybody wants to look like them. Models, women, and little girls. WHEN IN REALITY, most of the women in the magazines are photoshopped to look that way. Its awful!

We don’t actually look like our photographs these days..Don’t believe what you see, all smoke and mirrors…

I saw Zooey Deschanel’s Rimmel London Make-Up ad today at the back of a magazine and I swear, I wouldn’t have known it was her if I didn’t read the caption. What did they do to her face!? It’s been photoshopped all to hell. It looks horrible and fake. She’s already naturally beautiful.

It’s so sad. Even gorgeous women don’t make the cut… Like the altered photo looks bizarre and slightly creepy…

Posting this for the sake of how terrifying it is.

Its her eyes and her nose!

Britney Spears volunteers before-and-after pictures to be shown to schools to help students overcome body image issues.

This makes me feel good.

I’ve posted this a million times but Ill post it again— I just can’t get over it. She is gorgeous no matter what but what we see in ads and what influences young girls all over is so unrealistic!

This is the best photoset ever. We almost kill ourselves because society wants us pretty and thin and the models they give us are beautiful and perfect only thank to photoshop.

FUCK SOCIETY.

If I want to lose weight, I will do it for ME.

We all are human and should love our imperfection as well. Photoshop can’t be used in real life.

I love seeing untouched photos next to edited ones. Personally I believe untouched photos should be banned.

Ridiculous! They literally shaved off like, a quarter of her body. I just wish every girl who strives to be like these skinny celebrities could see this…. because most of them are not as “perfect” as you think.
